“Your slip is showing!” or “It’s snowing down south!”
This am I saw a couple of women walking up our street, both in skirts, and one actually had skirt hiked up a little & a little bit of slip showing. I can’t even remember when I last had or wore a slip, & back in the day I had some nice ones. How about you?

I can't remember the last time I wore a slip. I don't even own one,or panty hose for that matter. I'm a big fan of pants. Even for a dressy occasion I wear pants and a fancy blouse. I always ask my hubby if I look fat. He always says no and then I tell him he's lying.

Nope, can't remember the last time I wore a slip, no need because on the odd occasion I wear a dress, it hangs well, isn't see through and doesn't cling..., and I never wear skirts any more!

I haven't worn pantihose in forever.. although I think I might have a couple of unopened packets in the drawer from about 20 years ago...

I still do own slips and skirts and very occasionally I'll wear them both. I happen to like the way women look in pantyhose with skirts/dresses better than without. Frankly, I think it makes your legs look better, smoother and more put-together. I'm more apt to wear pantyhose in the winter time, though. I realize I'm probably in the minority here.

I haven't heard the expression "It's snowing down south" in ages. It must have been more than 20 years ago. I doubt most women wear slips these days.

I've never seen a woman's slip showing. But, in middle school, we had a funny way of telling a kid his zipper was down:
"You're losing altitude."

I wore cotton slips to bed for about a year, before I discovered that the new breed of polyester men's pj bottoms kept me cooler. I simply looked at them as men's sarongs, which are popular in Malaysia and thereabouts. (I'm a little more muscular than this puny guy, but you get the idea.)20190920_155353.jpg

Twenty seven years ago I was constantly told 'your slip is showing' by a family member at my parents' anniversary party....so I took it off and stashed it in my purse that night....took alot stress off me, lol....

I still wear half slips under dresses that cling. My two favorite slips are minis that a coworker gave me for my 21st birthday! I'll have to ask my 36 year old daughter if she sometimes wears slips. She's a teacher who often wears skirts and dresses to work, so I'm betting she does.

I also haven't heard "It's snowing down south" for decades.
