Last night I dreamt I was at work again

It was the first day of the school year and I had a class of young students for their first science lesson on the lab.
Sufficient to say that it did not go well.

Then today I came across this photo, and I identified strongly with the teacher sitting in front of this class.

How would you feel about being conscripted back into the workforce, assuming that you have already left it?

I have dreams of my workplace sometimes too, and am very relieved when I wake up, lol. Those days are over thank goodness, and those dreams never seem to go well.

I'm usually back at work (in my dreams) ..... mostly trying to close down, lock the pumps and put the driveway chains up but the *&#*$@*# customers keep coming in, the mechanics won't finish their jobs and I can't make the cash register balance. ;)

I don't dream of work anymore, but when I was working I used to frequently dream of working and usually it was a frantic, can't meet the deadline to get the work finished kind of dream...I woke up more tired than when I went to bed, felt like I had worked all night, but no pay..LOL...I guess that was a sign the stress way way overboard.

I'm with you on your comment OH!

Then we'd better not start another world war.
My grandfather was pulled out of retirement during WW II to work in the Post office.
Children were taught by old men in those days too.
The baby boomers would not be allowed to stay out of the workforce if the population has to be mobilised again.

Oh Warri, I can so identify with that teacher too. But great move by the young lady on the desk. I retired 2 years ago. I miss the kids, but not all of the other BS. I do volunteer at a science center near me, and teach science classes. There I can actually spend time teaching and enjoy it.

Would I go back to the regular classroom, never!

Ahhh back at work dream what a good feeling ...................to turn over and go back to sleep BLISS !!!!

LOL....I did this consistently for a good year after retiring..what a great feeling it was! I'd wake up in the morning and realize the day was mine, and I didn't have to get up unless I wanted to.....pure joy!
