lets change countries /and why that choice .

Venezuela. I'd like to compare the experience between socialism & capitalism.

Switzerland is very expensive also. We went on a trip there, drove all over the country, and enjoyed the scenery, but couldn't even afford the smallest souvenir to bring home, other than a chocolate bar!

I love the USA, but if I had to live in another country, it would be Canada....beautiful scenery, chock full of magnificent wildlife and great fishing. Viewing the Aurora Borealis also is a nice plus, amazing seeing those dancing lights in the dark sky of a remote area.

or you could live in Scotland SB...they say it's like Canada in Miniature..! Snow covered mountains, Lochs and rivers for fishing ...the plains of the lowlands, great beauty ... and never forget the Aurora Borealis too , which I saw with my own eyes in the 90's up in the North of Scotland :D

Canada would have to do something about their winter weather before I could consider it.
But you could always wear a coat ‘eh🤭

😂Couidn’t resist. Lol
British Columbia is beautiful and actually has much milder weather than most places in Canada 🇨🇦

Note: I’ve never used the word hoser in my life and the word ‘eh is usually only used to echo and laugh at those who think we actually use it

USA, would not live in any other location. Me and a friend did a month long Backpack Vacation in Europe years ago. English (UK) were by far the most cordial. In London if you ask for directions from a real Londoner, if it was within walking distance they would walk you there. We were at a great disadvantage in other countries because of the language barrier, but overall most areas were helpful, but if you could not speak their native tongue some just blew you off. We traveled by bus or rail on passes which was inexpensive. Now that I think about that adventure, I would never recommend it, but if I was capable I would do it again. But today a big trip is to Walmart and by the door is two walking canes just in case my equilibrium is off, my truck has 260,000 miles on it and I was there every mile and we both need a tune-up, man these Golden Years are between 65 and 80, hell I have passed them...I'm just not going to worry about it. ;)

I fell in love with the Cornwall section of England when I visited there. But I'm not about to start navigating those hills at this age!
yep beautiful as it is.. the whole of Devon and Cornwall is very steep and hilly.... I lived there when I was younger, but now with my dodgy knee I'll have to drive everywhere next time I'm down there...
