Life After Death Yes or No??

Well, there is, in fact, life after death, just not in the way you are imagining it in this context. All things in life die and become other living things. The forest and every living thing on earth has died a million times over, and yet they are still there. The energy that is in life is just recycled. From the time you were a single cell till now, all the molecules in your body have come from things your mother ingested, and you ingested after birth. They collectively became "you". When you die, the reverse happens, you eventually become them, and again, eventually they become part of other things.

However, the conscious concept of "you" is another matter. What is the "me" that is in my mind? I kinda think of it as an ongoing mental image you mind has constructed of itself. The "you" that you are experiencing now has been updated from the "you" that you were experiencing when you were 10. It's just a fluid concept that the brain builds from information and experience.

I think when a person dies, that dies as well. The life energy goes on, but the "you" doesn't. That's my view of this subject.
Interesting theory - like the style

I know there is pure energy that once was me. I had an NDE and traveled outside my body in this energy. I watched the medics try to bring me back. My energy could think, see, move around and understand what was happening. I don't for sure know how long this energy gos on, but I do know it's there.
now that's more like it buddy!!

I think there is something, not anything we can imagine but, I do believe that death is only the end of this existence, not necessarily the end of everything. I believe we have a soul that exists after our physical selves have passed.

I believe it because of personal experiences although, it may partly be that I prefer to think of those who I have loved and who have passed on, are existing, in some way, in another place and that, one day, we will be reunited again.

No. No there’s not
The odd thing is that I have had MANY experiences that many would say is Proof of a “supernatural”. I have said it.

My mother would say “If something is too good to be true IT ISNT”.

God ETC is too good to be true. Too wonderful. That’s why I don’t trust my own happenings.

Too good to be true.

This is the only consious life we have. When we die our particles are circulated back into the earths ecosystem, into the air and water and soil, then into living things again. In that sense we are reborn and live again and the cycle continues until it doesn't.

If our Spirit doesn't disolve into nutrients for the ecosystem, I maybe have one life left because my spirit is my strongest
part of me right now

Just a few of my previous posts links below related to the subject. If anyone has a more focused question after reading any of the below, then ask me. I very much lean towards the brain wave electromagnetic energy fields within our brains as potentially being recreated in an effective like water based impedance container, allowing eternal life beyond our organic mortal death. That is why Jesus narrowly related our organic body must die and that our "spirit" that sounds to this person like that field.

And the Transfiguration in all 3 synoptic gospels, if real, proved it. And NO if true, that does not mean we will have a body like we do now because our organic bodies age, degenerate, then die. To have an immortal if not destroyed body, it must be based on something possibly at least mostly inorganic that is replaceable. That is why Jesus spoke about "special water" that from a physics perspective makes sense as facets of such a container.

I'm not religious but I have reasons to believe in an afterlife so I do. It's like beautiful places on earth and everyone is happy and surrounded by love. Nothing bad ever happens to you there. Sort of like Tiffany's.🥰

Couldn't find a suitable fitting so here it is?? - 98% of us must have thought about this little phenomena from time to time. But here is my new slant on it. Don't get too excited just exploring! - I sit on my front balcony most evenings in good weather and often think about my lovely parents past and gone and my youngster brother taken with leukemia 15 yrs ago ; and I'm still here! - I sit in a small wooded glade and if not too lazy would show you some amazing pics - I'm still working on that.

. But heh here's the thing - I wish out most evenings ; Ok we either believe there is a life after this one and not just as death and no more or not. But as I sit out I justy wish for a visit from Ma and Pa and Bro but no luck - I have of course realized that they are more precious to me than gold but just no response. We can speculate of course that there in fact is no God or Angels etc and no life after death or the opposite. I would of course be very interested in David's view on this ! So there I sit waiting mostly patiently and all is just forest peasceful with not a whisper! any thoughts anyone?
I have had experiences and dreams. You may yet. Don't look for them. Let them surprise you.🙂

Like our energy passes on to birds etc? That's interesting and plausible really. I believe we have spirits that never die.

Many people beleive they will pass on to another realm after dead, like 'Heaven'.
For me, I'm bound for Folkvangr, to be with other warriors not killed in battle.
It is described as a 'Field'.
I had a dream once and I was heading under a sign that said Valhalla. I don't even believe in Valhalla and it was only something I vaguely knew about. So it was weird but I like that you're going to Folkvangr.🙂
