Life After Death Yes or No??

My opinion is yes, our self aware consciousness continues after the death of our physical bodies.
Evidence? The parallel reports from many people experiencing NDE's; the confirmed follow up inquiries of young children's recollections of previous lives; the parallel accounts of people under deep hypnosis who recall past life incarnations; the reported experiences and observations
of those people who claim out-of-body travels.......Edgar Cayce comes to mind.
And also, my own mother communicated with me by unlatching a cabinet door on her desk, repeatedly for several weeks after her death.
Can I prove that it was her? No. But I don't see another plausible explanation. After the last occurrence I spoke out loud and said, "Mom, it's time for you to go. You're lingering in the transition zone, don't worry about me, I'm going to be OK, you go on to the threshold of the next world and continue your journey." Or I said words to that effect. That cabinet door remained latched from then on, like it had for the previous 17 years before Mom died. Except when anyone in the physical realm opened it.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Believe it or disbelieve it, you're entitled to your opinion.

This occurence reminded me of when one of my co-worker's brother died in a car crash. His mother (and, of course - her mother as well) was at home the day of his accident, and his picture that had hung on her wall for years fell to the floor and broke the glass in the frame just moments before she was notified of his death.

I'm not presenting that account as proof of anything.

There may be something. I have no real feelings one way or another. However, when my mom broke her shoulder and wrist, we moved her to a private care home. I bought her a special blanket to keep he warm. When It got to the end, suddenly, she sat up a bit, opened her eye's and looked past us and said, "hello mother". Then she was gone. I keep that blanket in the garage and always have it handy when I work on the car... just in case she decides to stop by and say hello. ❤️❤️

My mom did this too, my sister was taking care of her at home and she called me and told me she heard Mom talking
went in to see if she wanted something. Mom was looking to the other side of the room taking to our Grandmother telling
her she'd see her soon. Afterwards mom had no recollection of the conversation.
