Little Boy Lost in Barcelona is found but the ending of the story is very sad.

Australians have been watching and waiting for news of a seven year old boy who was unaccounted for in Barcelona after the latest terrorist attack. His mother was badly injured and was/still is in hospital but the boy who was with her was missing.

Stories of lost children have a particular resonance over here and everyone has been hoping that he would be found alive somewhere.

His father arrived from Australia yesterday to be with his wife and to help find the boy. Sadly he was found amongst the unidentified dead.

This is his story and as I look on his photographs my eyes are filled with hot tears. I am angry.

What a sad tragedy, may he rest peacefully. Can't even begin to imagine how his family is feeling. These terrorist attacks have got to stop, but I'm afraid they never will. :(
 
Such a heartbreaking story. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and all the families enduring such pain from this tragedy. Will these terrorist attacks ever end.
 

So so tragic, my heart, thoughts and tears go out to everybody caught up in this evil act, Spain as a country, that innocent, tiny boy and his family .....
 
...I propose an International Day of Remembrance...for all the innocent children who have lost their lives because of evil, and senseless acts of terrorism, and other similar causes.
 
I was hoping for a better ending when I read he was missing but it didn't happen. :(

It's always sad and tragic when anyone dies but the death of a child is the saddest. Pray for his family, especially his mom who is still in the hospital. :love_heart:
