Little Known or Forgotten Movies That You have Enjoyed

@againstthegrain Both those movies were almost blockbusters. From the title of this thread, I assumed we were talking about little-known films.

Nothing came into my mind, but I thought I might remember something from others' posts. The only one on here that I saw was Bagdad Cafe. I recall liking it a lot.

Perhaps you'll note the words "OR FORGOTTEN" in the thread title.

My favorite movie of my childhood, along with the original King Kong. If either of those were on TV on a school day, I would pretend to be sick to watch. Grandson asked me what were my favorite movies.
OMG! Me too❣️ I came here to post about this movie, which I consider my favorite movie of all time. As a child, I watched it every night when it came on Million Dollar Movie and have loved mermaids ever since. Also, no other mermaid movie can top this IMO...not Splash or any other. I love William Powell's dry wit and his portrayal. Ann Blythe was so beautiful and her expressions made of for her not having a speaking part. One of my favorite scenes from the movie is when he first realizes he's caught a mermaid. I'm sure I've watched this movie at least 15 times.

One of my favorites, I wasn't expecting much from it but I did see monsters in it so I figured I might as well sit down and try to enjoy it and I thoroughly did.

I also cannot begin to recount all the sci-fi monster movies and 1950s and 60s monster movies and alien movies and Godzilla movies King Kong movies and other huge creature movies.

I finally watched Wicked on Prime. Awful!

What worked fine on stage where things were suggested and imagination was required to make it work just became tedious by making everything explicit and detailed. They didn’t even manage to conclude the story. Hard to imagine anyone returning for part 2, I certainly won’t.
