Not sure where to put this, but former member Lon Tanner passed away last Friday (10/29). He was in an assisted living facility in California, and was active on another senior forum until just a week or so ago. He was active on this forum for a long time.

Rest in Peace

Thank you for letting us know. Rest in peace Lon.

It's always sad when someone dies. You lose a little bit of yourself too because you know that the world will never be exactly the way it was when this person was alive. I hope he enjoyed his life and found much happiness as he traveled "from the cradle to the grave."

I remember Lon. It is good to know that he was active until his end of days.
May he rest in peace and be long remembered by those who loved him.

Lon was 88, same age as I am. He had many health issues and his daughter told me that he'd been vaccinated and thought at first he was going to beat COVID, but his system was just too frail I guess. He was active on the other forum until he became hospitalized earlier in October.

Sorry for the losing of Lon.
Knew him from another Forum
Always enjoyed his posts.....was never a shortage of words.
Sympathy to his family and friends.
Be at PEACE and REST, Lon.
