Alas, of the rules in my co op apt building is NO Pets,as a life long dog lover its tough . I make do with a golden retreiver dog pillow my brother&sister in law gave me a couple yrs ago for Xmas Sue

The beauty of that is you don't have to take it for a walk. Now who wasn't thinking that one
I know some of the places I've looked at don't take pets either. Didn't bother me too much before I got Mimmie, now I have to make sure a place does . Thanks for the warm welcome
Mimmie and I took a nap, and when we woke, the wind had stopped and the rain too so I hurried and bundled us both up and we had a nice, little walk

and who fit in easily, when you got her.
That's great. (Though her challenging habits for a very rainy day! )
Sounds like your small doggie is a bit smaller than my medium-sized kittie companion.

Hi SeaBreeze, nice to see you as well. Yes, I am surprised I have a dog. I really had decided I probably wouldn't get one. I had talked myself out of it time, and time again. All the responsibility, yada, yada, yada. This little gal so needed a home. She was staying with a neighbor that was not able to really care for her. She was actually trying to help here wayward daughter by taking care of Mimmie. I had gone on a trip toe Apache Junction AZ and was told they had found a good home for Mimmie so I was so happy. When I got back, there she was, still "too long" nails, fleas, no shots ever in 4 years, and un-spade ;( She was so shy I didn't think it could work, like I felt she wouldn't feel safe with me. I was so wrong.Good to see you Denise, hope you're doing well and sooo happy you have a pup now.
Sorry but I just got the bug to write about more of the story. I just picked her up and told Linda she would have her "forever" home with me if I could have her. Definitely a yes from Linda as the other lady turned her down at the last minute. I couldn't bare to have her uncared for. I knew linda loved her but she is so crippled up so I wanted to help her as well. I am so glad and totally believe Mimmies is a God-sent to me. We are a wonderful match! I couldn't have done better looking for a dog
Over a month now, and quite inseparable She is so smart and well-behaved, and to be honest, I so needed her as much as she needed me.Denise1952
