Georgia you would be very welcome to come too. The firweorks at midnight on New years eve is amazing, we don't really go any more , well you don't when you live here, but millions from all over the world come. I'd go if you two came to visit tho', we'd have a great time showing you around.
Clotted cream is basically a thick pasteurized cream, full of fat and very rich so you only can have a little bit with jam on top of a scone. It's a little hard to get in cafes' and tea-rooms in London unless you eat High tea in the top hotels although you can buy it in the supermarkets and stores, but it's a traditional offering in the West country (Cornwall and Devon).
It's a bit like asking for grits in a New York restaurant lol
