This guy got some great shots of these Lynx, good place to keep your pups and kitties indoors! :D More here.

A man in Anchorage, Alaska awoke to the sound of something running across his deck so he went to check it out.

Initially, he thought it was just a family of house cats, but then he noticed they had really big feet.
Tim quickly grabbed his camera and snapped these adorable photos of the lynx family that decided to stay awhile and play on his deck and in his backyard.

I read that Canadian Lynx can have from 1 to 8 kits, depending on how abundant the prey is around at the time, like wild hares. Don't know if it has to do with the mother's diet, or....?

That's a lot of kits. I've never seen so many. While it's a lovely photo, I'd have a heart attack if a mother lynx with 7 kits showed up on my back porch.

I'm familiar with the name lynx and that they are wild cats but I don't think I've ever seen a photo of a lynx, at least not that I remember. I've led a sheltered life:cool: So, I take it that's a lynx in your avatar, SeaBreeze. I wondered what that was. How exciting to see a whole family of them just making themselves at home.

The cat in my avatar is a Caracal, Lara. They both have tufts on the ears, but the Lynx has those two tufts of fur below the chin, this is a Canadian Lynx.
