Mass shooting/killing in Indianapolis FedEx this evening

Americans when is enough enough?
We're not yet done culling the herd.

Just read that the Texas House of Reps have passed a bill to allow people to carry a gun without a license. Insanity on steroids.

"The Texas House has approved a bill that would allow handguns to be carried without a permit, marking a win for gun rights activists who have for years pushed the measure at the Legislature but a blow to El Paso Democrats who have been fighting for gun safety measures since the 2019 massacre in their hometown."

My condolences to the family and friends of the victims, including the family of the shooter. His mom had previously warned the FBI about a year ago that her son was planning something like this.

I don’t have the answers on how to stop these mass shootings.

No one does. But that doesn't prevent some from saying they do, based on their own agenda.

Being an ex employee may provide a motive.
I've worked in places where there was all kinds of abuse. Co-workers have said, "I wouldn't be a bit surprised if __________ walked in & started killing people."
In this location they couldn't even carry cell phones that would've allowed a call for help or a shelter in place text alert.

Setting that aside a lot of workplaces become us against them. It's not even management v employee it various factions. No one likes butt suckers and considered many of them spies for management when working with them. Then when there are managers and employees that don't get along both wind up going into battle everyday. Just the sight of each other. If this guy was verbalizing threats at the workplace and they didnt take it seriously someone failed.

Now it being said the murderer was fired and acted like he wanted suicide by cop. Job hate is no reason to kill. I wonder if he found who he was looking for.

ROFLMAO!

Just love your wording of that, WhatInThe! :giggle:

One more feather added to the dunce cap!

As long as the NRA continues to have the ($$) control over members in Congress, there will NOT be any means to limit access to assault weapons that do not belong on the streets of America to begin with.

Didn't the AG of New York file suit to have the NRA disbanded due to egregious fraud by the Brass.

I remember reading something in regards to that, too, Ohio.

Would have been gratifying to see the NRA's net worth rolled over to those in the USofA who want to see change in the way of gun control.

Handed over to the people, for the people.

I for one know better than to believe statistics surrounding the idea that everyone in the USofA is in favour of the second amendment, because there was a lot of kerfuffle in the news in 2019, related to shop and business owners in the USofA not allowing people in their premises when carrying, which of course garnered huge support from the Canadian people.

Last year there were 19,379 gun deaths and it looked like we're set to top it this year. I'm so tired of hearing about the constitution as if it were the Ten Commandments. God didn't write the constitution, politicians did and they never could have imagined automatic weapons and the problems we have with guns today. If it's no longer working for us, and is now working against us, we need to change it.
My TV tells me that there have been 51 mass shootings SINCE APRIL.
I'd say the second amendment is working against US citizens.

Only an idiot confronts anyone over a mask issue. The "Confronters" are wearing masks, so why play "Mask Police," especially NOW, when people have been on edge for the past year over unemployment, & other problems caused by Covid?
Reminds me of stupid drivers who start a road rage incident when they feel they've been wronged.
Such people never grew up.
Let's not make up feeble excuses for such doltish behaviour.

You know as well as I do, that pulling a gun on someone for something so petty is not in keeping with being a responsible gun owner.

My condolences to all those affected.

Loss of 64 million in 3 years! Scrolling down from that, the misuse of funds is incredible. I am befuddled how the members were not aware of this? Anyone of them could inspect the records?

Has the Russian money dried up?

Apparently the NRA is/was attempting to close down their NY headquarters and relocate to Florida to escape investigation/prosecution.

In August the attorney general of New York, Letitia James, sued the NRA in an attempt to shut it down, alleging its leaders had used it as a “personal piggy bank” and illegally diverted $64m for their own use. LaPierre claims that civil lawsuit was politically motived.

The head of the NRA said the lawsuit was politically motivated?? What a joke. The NY AG just pulled 64 million out of the air, with no concrete evidence? Yea right.

What are we supposed to do--round up everyone with a gun and ask them to hand them over? Like that's even possible to round up ALL the guns...who knows what the right answer is...do the non Americans know the answer?
