This issue should have GREATLY addressed 1/2 a century ago, but there was a "no need" attitude by government since they were minimal.

When President Kennedy was assassinated it wasn't even against federal law to do so!

"Gun violence researchers say little has been done to prevent the next mass shooting".

Researchers are 100% incorrect in that statement.

Absolutely 100% NOTHING has been done to prevent mass shooting and gun violence in the USofA. In fact, reflecting on the new bill applying to Texas, where carrying a gun without a license has been approved, tells me that the USofA welcomes even MORE mass shootings and gun violence in the future.

Good news is... gun sales are up in the USofA! 👍

Clearly, I need more ammo. Anybody have any extra 9mm?

I reloaded all my old shell casings this past Winter, so now I have plenty....9mm, 270, 300 win mag, 44 mag, and 30 cal. I generally like to put a few rounds through my weapons 2 or 3 times a year, but with the recent prices and shortages, I may cut that back to once a year. The local Walmart has been completely sold out for months, and a couple of nearby sporting goods stores have minimal amounts in stock. The price of ammo has almost doubled in the past few months....at least around here.

and yet, People are still screaming to "defund the police".
Then what? The sheriff's Dept?
I know it would never happen but every law enforcement officer in the United States should take a one week vacation at the same time. After that see if these people are still screaming to "defund the police".
What's next, "Defund the Fire Fighters" because they only work when there's a fire.
