Mega Millions jackpot climbs to $868 million

I purchased a single ticket. I figure if I win, it would sure help the state of Kansas out of some of it's financial woes after I paid state income tax on that huge mess of money.
 
It's become a cliche but if Psychics, Fortune-tellers, and Clairvoyants, are legit then why can't they win...ever!?! Has anyone ever gotten an answer from any of them?

I didn't get a ticket for last night's Mega; I was gonna get a ticket for the next one but I was at the grocery store and forgot.

I play some of the other games - Lucky for Life is $1k a day for life...$365k annually. That's plenty. Second tier prize is $25k annually - a nice chunk.

I've had best luck on The Kicker which is part of Super Lotto. Top prize is $100k, but I won $1k several times, and $100 dollars many times.

Odds for winning money in the other games are much better than Mega or Powerball.

Would I like to win millions? Sure. And I'm confident I would be able to keep my mouth shut.

Lots of noble people here. Helping family, friends, the church, the hungry and homeless, charities, etc etc.

It's up to over 1 billion dollars tonight. i can't even envision having that much money. Did everyone who has lottery available buy a ticket?
 
Didn't buy a Mega.
I keep saying it but another reminder: If you're gonna play the lottery it's better to aim for the lower tier prize money. Forget about billions & millions.

I did pretty darn good last night in Lucky for Life. :grin:
Classic Lotto and Kicker are also good ones.

Or, keep dreaming "What would you do if you won Mega or Powerball" but the odds are stacked against you and dreaming might be fun but it won't put $$ in your wallet. :shrug:

I win Lucky for Life a lot too for small amounts, but I do buy mega millions tix when the jackpot gets this high.
 
There was a winner of $1Million where I played 4 tickets. Didn't win. Oh well, I would have been really irked if I hadn't tried.

I sure came close to winning if location counts.

What are the chances of winning a million in that same location...now I'm going to have to move :cool:

Our super Kansas cash is up to 3.1 million in tonights drawing. I may give that one a try. You get two plays for $1.00 (hey, I can't help being a bargain hunter )
