It has been happening for years now. Men are looking more & more lady like with their tight jeans, jewelry & make up. Women are looking more masculine every year with their clothes. If you want to see a good looking woman you almost have to buy a magazine or look at a movie. Glad I'm in my 70s.
To see a good looking woman, all I have to do is roll over to my right.....

The only time impo males should wear makup is onstage in a theatre or club and in a circus or pantomime. Cant see any point in boys men wearing face makeup and for me a sign of possible exhibitionism. I hasten to add no disrespects toyour Son Ronni and have to say he looks really good and a "looker" Ive not seen males about on the streets where I reside....yet.

Tslking of jewellery for males I like a bit if good jewellery on a bloke but not overly done. My late Husband wore a couple of 18crt gold rings, his wedding band and one I bought him many years ago a half cougarand (sp) .He wore a St Christopher for years and a gold choker with his Mum's wedding ring attached. He liked his personal jewellry and some sas been given to our Grandson

Actually, I'd ask the opposite question: why do women feel they must wear makeup? The way many women plaster themselves with foundation and eye stuff just turns me off completely. Go au naturelle, baby....
Or what's good for the goose is good for the gander. Often times it is hide some perceived flaw.

What about war paint?

Some in the U.S. would say, "Just what is going on today? Men wanting to be woman and looking like it. A woman as a husband or a man as a wife. Children be raised by same-sex parents. And, so on and so on. Where did it all start and why"

Whoops ! A quote, photo and where's my comment?? Haha - -old age is catching up with me.

Back to my missing reply - - - "secure in his own masculinity,--etc.. Does it ever occur to folks that most men, especially older males, have never even given it a thought? I never have, but I've also never considered wearing a dress, much jewelry beyond my watch and wedding ring, high heels, etc.

There's a whole passel of feminine things that have never been a part of my life and I can safely say amongst the lives of my male friends and family members. Times are changing, and each to their own mannerisms, but to suggest that it is somehow involved in one's worry about their masculinity seems to be a pretty wide generalization and reach.

Having said that, you're son is a nice looking young fellow.

Well, when a person, man, woman or even children, does something to themselves that is "out of the ordinary", the public will notice and many, many will laugh to themselves and wonder "why". Many will also say, "we live in a world of weirdness".

These people will hope that people won't think anything about how they look, and there are those that really don't care, but then there are those that think "how stupid looking". There are those on this thread that do think both ways.

I like to see women with make up that is soft and cleverly applied. There is s craze in the UK for perfect eyebrows and women spend time and money getting their brows just perfect. Mine are very fair so leave them as they are as are my lashes but like eye shadow and eyeliner and mascara on daily and feel gloomy without a bit of "mud" on my face.

Never shaved my legs as the hairs are very fair.

I would thing leg shaving probably began when nylon stockings became popular. Even relatively fair hairs looked pretty gross when wearing even 30 denier stockings.

So leg shaving is connected to selling nylons. Wearing leggings would be good with hairy legs.☺️♥️

I disagree and think most people like the attention, especially younger folk, we’ve all done it and good luck to them, I doubt many of these boys will still be wearing make up when they grow up
