I spotted this story yesterday and chose to pass by but this morning on the radio I heard that there have been major ramifications.
The Financial Times sent female reporters disguised as hostesses to a charity dinner for men only and lifted a rock to reveal the behaviour tolerated, even encouraged, that was part and parcel of the event.

The BBC has followed up with events after the charity dinner. Some charities are refusing donations and returning money donated in the past, and there have been some resignations within the Department for Education. Well known personalities are denying having seen anything.

It seems the words "never again" are starting to have some effect.
