Merry Chihuahuas everyone!

News item: An elderly couple have 'donated' 45 Chihuahuas to the RSPCA shelter in Hobart Tasmania.
3 dogs are pregnant so there'll be over 50 in all, ranging from a few weeks to 10 years old.

Not a puppy farm. They are all family pets and all in tip top condition. The couple have reached the point where they feel they can't care for them properly any more.

I guess they did the right thing rather than neglect them, but how does the RSPCA find 50 people in Hobart desperate for a Chihuahua? Sure it's Christmas but not only aren't dogs a good idea for a Christmas gift, there's not even much meat on a chihuahua.

Sorry, so sorry... it was the de debbil made me tack that on. Too good a chance to pass up, sorry.

Story's true though.

:badgirl: Di......but I must say, they'd have to pay me a helluva stack of cash to take one of those overgrown rats.....
Lived nextdoor to someone who had a couple of those nasty, nipping, yapping little creatures.....they were always out on the street when I walked past and they loved coming up behind people and nipping their heels..... nooo thanks....

My sister in law got one once and I reached out to stroke his head.
He bit my finger.

Three days later he died.
Serve him right the nasty little twerp!

Anyone else thinking of biting me should be warned.
I'm toxic.
Really, I am.

She doesn't have as much meat on her now either, she's been on a diet for a month and has lost a massive 1 kilo.

Another one to go so she's going to stay cranky about the Smackos withdrawal for a while yet. She gets half a one a week just so she doesn't lose the will to live. I think it's been harder for me to keep her to rations than for her. I have to cop those pleading looks day after day, but I can't give in and she's such a guts whatever she gets is never enough.

It was the Pollyanna juice Warri. It must have acted like holy water on the little demon in him. :lofl:

Back when I was bouncing there was this one beautiful Puerto Rican gal that caught my eye, and we eventually got together and did well until the first time she brought her chihuahuas for a walk.

Every freakin' time I tried to put my arm around her those little %&$%#*'s would yap and nip at my feet.

As a post script, with the proper run-up you can punt a chihuahua approximately 20 yards, and they make a nice little splash in the river.

... I miss her.
