Mr. Arthritis has come to visit,

Have you you tried CBD oil or gummies for the pain? It's not proven yet, but some say there is a chance it may help. I hope you can get some relief!
Or, if you're so inclined, perhaps marijuana? Stop in at a dispensary, they might have something that works.

I want to thank you all for this valuable information that you have offered. I too have recently begun having problems with arthritis in my hands. It seems to be related somehow to my cancer and the medications that I'm taking for that.
I had never experienced a problem with arhturitis before in my life. When it occurs it as if my fingers and hands take on a life of their own. They become spasmodic and twist into really odd positions and shapes and lock up, and it's quite painful when they do. I pretty much lose all use of my hands at that point, unable to make the fingers move where they need to in order to perform the simplest tasks. I have to pull them out of their contorted positions, run warm water over them and massage them trying to get them relaxed and under control again.
It usually goes on for an hour or two before I can regain enough control to use them again. The curcumin concentrate derived from tumeric sounds particularly promising.

@sailormann I am so sorry to hear of your condition. It sounds painful and very uncomfortable. Have you discussed these specific arthritis symptoms with your oncologist? They may be able to adjust medications, provide advice, or give a referral to a rheumatologist. Keeping the joints mobile is important. You're right that turmeric/curcumin supplements may help reduce inflammation. I hope you find a solution soon!

Thanks buddy. That was a bit of oversharing there. I must have been still half asleep. I don't usually tell anyone the full extent of my situation. People tend to look at you like the walking dead and shy away when you mention the big C.
Already I have outlasted my doctor's predictions, which was 6 months to a year. It has been two and a half years now since my surgery and when the diagnosis was delivered.
I keep a positive outlook, do lots of research into alternative treatments and possible cures, and make the most of every moment when I have enough energy to do anything at all. There are occasional good days when I seem almost normal, but most days I am only a spectator in life enjoying the beauty of observing the world around me. In spite of the difficulties I still feel very blessed.

Try a herb dietary for Joints and slowly move your joint a lot.
See if it frees up a lot in a couple of months. Ease off the Ibuprofin.
It may just make things worse.
