I was ten but had lots of brothers and sisters who took me from the fifties to the late sixties musically. I impressed my friends with my mature music knowledge.

She had one song over here that I heard on the radio, Girl Don't Come. Cilla Black never made it over here either. Dusty & Petula made it big over here though.The summer of 1967, I was bumming around Europe for three months. Sandie Shaw was the hot-hot-hot sensation all over the place. "Puppet on a String" was blaring from every radio. I'm not sure she ever was that popular in the US.
If I had a record player and any old albums, I would do exactly that! I miss hearing much of the 1960's music. Classic radio stations get some of it, but not much of the old classics...I feel like I should start pulling out all my old albums and take a stroll down memory lane...
