My Daughter-In-Law Passed Away Saturday Morning!

I still can't believe it!! I used to make her laugh by telling her that I loved her like I pushed her out myself. She was the sweetest, kindest, most big hearted person. Tonya was a wonderful wife to my son and mother to my grandchildren (3 of which were her step children). She often sent me her delicious meals because she loved to cook and knew I don't like to. She wanted to wait a little longer to retire in spite of her ailments so she could remain with her disabled students until they reached a certain point. Her death has not only hit my son, my grandchildren and her huge, tight knit family very hard but everyone who knew her is reeling right now. Rest In Paradise my precious DIL. Heaven has gained another angel. 😭😭
Diva I'm so sorry. Tonya sounds like she was a very kind and caring person, may she rest peacefully. My condolences to you and your family....hugs.

Sorry for your pain. The trouble with death, whether sudden or not, is that it is so final. There is no turning back and there are no second chances; only regrets. We think of things we should have said while they were living but of course, it's too late. Being religious helps to deal with the situation. Try to remember all the good times you two had.

You never will, that's because just as love has no boundaries, nor does bereavement. The pain is almost like, the price of love.
Can you be strong for your Son and family? Many will look to lean on you as support, but you will need the love and support too.
My prayers are with you and for you. May your beloved daughter-in-law rest in peace.
HC..you are right. And I've always been "the rock" in my family, the one they always knew they can count on. Thank God I have a multitude of supportive family and friends, especially my BFF, who have been keeping me busy on the phone. I finally got to have a long conversation with Tonya's twin sister yesterday, which I think was cathartic for both of us. Thank you so much for your prayers and condolences❣️

Once again I want to thank everyone who offered prayers and condolences. Your comments have certainly provided comfort during this extremely difficult time. Wishing the best for all of you my friends ❣️ I'm honoring Tonya's memory by posting this TY GIF because she loved butterflies. Stay blessed, safe and well. Peace
