My Daughter-In-Law Passed Away Saturday Morning!

I still can't believe it!! I used to make her laugh by telling her that I loved her like I pushed her out myself. She was the sweetest, kindest, most big hearted person. Tonya was a wonderful wife to my son and mother to my grandchildren (3 of which were her step children). She often sent me her delicious meals because she loved to cook and knew I don't like to. She wanted to wait a little longer to retire in spite of her ailments so she could remain with her disabled students until they reached a certain point. Her death has not only hit my son, my grandchildren and her huge, tight knit family very hard but everyone who knew her is reeling right now. Rest In Paradise my precious DIL. Heaven has gained another angel. 😭😭

You never will, that's because just as love has no boundaries, nor does bereavement. The pain is almost like, the price of love.
Can you be strong for your Son and family? Many will look to lean on you as support, but you will need the love and support too.
My prayers are with you and for you. May your beloved daughter-in-law rest in peace.

Oh (((Diva))))... this is so awful, you all must be so Broken losing a much loved member of your family...:cry:

How did she die ? was it illness or accident ?

You have my deepest sympathy, Diva. We never expect to lose our loved ones who are younger than we are, and for this to happen at Christmas to you and your son and all her dear children, makes it all that much sadder.

Just hearing that when she cooked a big meal she remembered to send you some says everything about the sort of thoughtful person she was -- in fact it sounds like your son married someone who reminded him of his mom.
