My husband was diagnosed with lung cancer Friday

He is devastated, I knew what was going on (30 years in health care). He quit smoking 50 years ago, eats as healthy as can be, has walked his 10,000+ steps every day, rain or shine. I'm numb, my grandmother and both my parents died from cancer. His cancer is really bad, very aggressive and spreading like crazy, even has a mass on one of his kidneys. He was making excuses for quite awhile with the pain. I finally told him to go to his doc or he was going to shady pines.

I'm so sorry to hear that, Debbie! My husband died of colon cancer so I know what you're feeling. He was diagnosed as stage 3 but he did manage to live 10 years after that diagnosis.
