My sister passed away yesterday....

My condolences. I'm glad to read that she passed away peacefully at home, but I'm so sorry for your pain. You and yours are in my prayers.

Thank you, Mrs Robinson, for sharing with us.

I am sad that you have lost your sister and lifelong friend. Not being able to see her recently must increase the pain you are feeling today. Take care of yourself and stay close to her husband because he is part of her, as you and your husband are.

Her memory lives on in all of you. Draw all the comfort you can from the sweet times you had with her as you grieve your loss. I wish we could do more to wrap you in our love.

We will absolutely stay close with my BIL. This was my eldest sister-she and my brother were born 11 and 13 years before me. My parents had them, then didn`t have another child for 9 years. Then had another girl, then two years later,me,then five years later, another girl. My BIL has been in my life since I was 7 years old,so is much a brother as my own brother.

Oh dear Mrs Robinson, I am so sorry to read this sad
news, we who are left behind are at a loss to handle
such events, or find words to say, they don't help anyway.

Please accept my condolences.

Mike.

COPD finally took her. We all knew her time was short, but the end came suddenly. My BIL had just emailed me late Sunday night asking for my sweet potato recipe that he wanted to make for their small Thanksgiving meal. None of us have been able to see my sister since the pandemic started due to her fragile health. So it was only going to be the four of them-her daughter and SIL live on the same property as them and help care for them.

My sister was the rock of our family.Even my mom counted on her up until she left us 29 years ago. This all feels so strange.
Oh, Mrs R. I am so sorry this happened. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. šŸ˜”

Now, I'm not religious, but I am spiritual. According the laws of physics nothing is ever lost, it just changes form and substance.
"Your family chain is broken,
and nothing seems the same,
but as all are called one by one,
the chain will link again."

God bless.
This reminds me of the Johnny Cash song, Will the Circle Be Unbroken,
What is is, and what is not is not. I am as certain as I possibly can be that I will see those I love who have departed this life, once I pass too.
