Hope you have some comfort from all the prayers going out to you and your loved ones. I see this image and imagine your son and wife receiving a box of well wishes and prayers.

Sorry if it seemed like I was "making it about me." I was just hoping my recent experience would give Shalimar hope. If this thread is only supposed to be "best wishes" I apologize.

Not at all @Della , I didnā€™t see anything of it that made me think it was about you, and I think I understand your sentiment regarding wanting to share experiences. Iā€™ve done it myself in the past, and I think I have felt maybe similar things as you, in that giving someone hope.

But I think in hindsight, in my own experiences of trying to give people hope or similar, Iā€™ve ended up doing and saying the wrong thing, even if I thought it was quite innocent at the time. Because at the time I personaly hadnā€™t grasped the complexities of what the other person might be going through.

I really donā€™t want to run the risk of this post of mine adding to any stress someone may or may not be going through. I donā€™t know what affect my post might have, so Iā€™ll end my post now. :)
 
Shali, so sorry to hear this, so much for you to deal with but you will because you have the strength to do so.

What happened with the drunk driver, hopefully in jail giving him time to think about the heart ache his actions caused.
