Getting an early start on the fire wood. Never have I been able to start early on that...
Iām going to have my first one soon.I LOVE virtual Doctor's appointments. All I have is a flip phone, and no camera on my computer. So I don't even have to shave to "go to the doctor's." No more worrying about traffic, and being late. nor waiting for an hour or more.
Yeah!!!!
Now that is truly sad.I can't think of one single positive thing.

Any time I cook its creative, maybe not eatable, but creative none the less.I've been cooking creatively by incluiding some items that have long inhabited my freezer and pantry shelves. I've also been indulging my true love (baking) just a little bit. Made some biscotti and other cookies to shared with our kids (via mail and social distance pickup). I also made 16 pizzas yesterday. 15 are bagged up and in the freezer. Our daughter's family will get 8 of them when we see each other on Friday - from a proper social distance, of course.
Hubby and I each do a little something productive every day. Finally addressing some of those pesky, uninteresting little chores that keep getting put off. We've been clearing out some cabinets, closets and shelves - me in the house, him in the garage. There will always be more to do on that front, but any progress is better than none.
We're also watching old and oldish movies from that we never managed to see before. I've also been reading a lot without feeling even a twinge of guilt.
So far, so good.
My sons girlfriend is Chinese. I love her to death. If they ever break up I get to keep her. YAY.Netflix is certainly keeping me sane. Learning some Chinese from my girlfriend is keeping my brain active. Jogging or walking with her is keeping me healthy.![]()
Funny, I was just thinking about this. Haven't had it in years and if you make it with fresh pineapple and natural sugar replacement its a pretty good dessert overall. Don't eat much sugar so the regular version might be way too sweet I think, and lose the cherries...lol.Pineapple upside-down cake.
But I love cherries, hmm, Iāll lose them to my tummyFunny, I was just thinking about this. Too cold for tomatoes here, probably plant in JuneThe positives for us would probably be the fact it "centers" your mind on "just" home projects...we have been cutting down some scrub brush trees around the big ones and planting. Those extra runs to the store kind of break up the day sometimes. Already have fresh home grown tomatoes and lots of fresh rosemary, oregano, lemon verbena, basil and chives for a delicious herb & olive oil dip.
Also moved a lot of books, added more bookshelves, and it really turned out great. Actually enjoying it. Of course we have a lot of land and its not a lot different from our normal lifestyle except for the family visits and being able to actually go to a fav restaurant.
