Neil Diamond

Sorry to hear that. I came to an appreciation of him late in life, and am enjoying my CD, "The Best of Neil Diamond," immensely.
 
Yes I heard he'd got PD... such a shame. ND has always been a favourite singer of mine since I was a teen... , I hope that he continues to live a good life despite the PD, even tho' he can no longer perform live.
 

I saw him in two different concerts over the years. The first concert was in his early years and during the show, he told the audience that he wrote the song “Cracklin’ Rose in just a few minutes while he was shopping for wine, which is what the song references.

yes I saw him too, and he related that story then as well...

Never was a huge ND fan, but back in the day a G/F was. So I took her to a concert to see him. She was into it big time...I gotta say, he did put on a great show. <grin> for the next two weeks, in the car, she sang his songs...And yes she could sing. IMO a really nice voice !
