Is a cheese of Cypriot origin made from a combination of
goat's and sheep's milk..sometimes cow's milk and has a high melting point.
Has anyone had...use?![]()

definitely know about Guinea fowl... and on masterchef, one of the contestants made GF,..plus Chorizo scotch eggsWhen reading a local magazine about Chef(s)..
one stated...he was approached by a farmer
who offered him Scotch Guinea Fowl eggs..
he said he would be happy to make a special dish.

I've had it many times in Greece.. but I don't eat it here ...My grandson gets Halloumi at a Greek restaurant. I've never eaten it. Yet.
.. and when they flambe it, they shout "OPA!"We don't eat it at home, but when we go to our favorite Greek restaurant, their Saganaki, halloumi cheese browned or deep-fried, then flambeed with ouzo or cognac, makes us swoon! Love it.
This sounds like something Iโd like but Iโve never tried it. Is it found in regular grocery stores?Halloumi..
