New food item to me...(learned something new)...

Halloumi..
Is a cheese of Cypriot origin made from a combination of
goat's and sheep's milk..sometimes cow's milk and has a high melting point.

Has anyone had...use?๐Ÿ˜‰

I haven't had it, but I follow an older Australian guy who posts cheesemaking at home videos and sells related products. He's made that one a couple of times.

When reading a local magazine about Chef(s)..
one stated...he was approached by a farmer
who offered him Scotch Guinea Fowl eggs..

he said he would be happy to make a special dish.

Anybody heard of them?
or...had..
or...๐Ÿ˜‰

( some clever SFM..Will post picture)

Poutine..(heard it's Canada's comfort food)

Crispy french fries, covered with cheese and beef gravy.

Yum..'sounds good'

How many have had?

IS it a favorite?๐Ÿ˜‰

Manuka honey
Is made in Australia and New Zealand
by bees that pollinate the lepto sternum
scoparium bush (also known as tea tree)
It has antibacterial, antioxidant and antiinflamatory prperties.

Looks rather expensive on Amazon.

Do our 'Aussie' and 'kiwi' friends want to tell us about this...what looks like a miracle product.๐Ÿ˜‰

This sounds like something Iโ€™d like but Iโ€™ve never tried it. Is it found in regular grocery stores?

Charcuterie board...
is a selection of preserved meats or cheeses 'laid out' on a board of platter.

(Didn't really 'know' the 'proper'' name..
but my Mom 'did it'...passed down to me')
