I'll be your heir.![]()
Sounds good.....I know the wall mount & labor, old TV removal, add to it , but it is what i want, and what I need so.......Ahhh the price of growing old.![]()
Next time you have problem call Direct-Tv and they will troubleshoot it for you. They will sometimes do it and you do nothing or next to it. Reception is controlled through system. If they can't remedy it they should be able to tell you it is the TV. Glad to here all is well now.The "tv guy" is the guy that actually repaired it the last time I had a problem. He narrowed it down to being the fault of my direct-tv control box. Called them, used his {ID} they approved his charge, it ended up costing me nothing. So!...he's the guy I called.
"37 years old?" Did it come with a freeAny opinions ? My old one, [37] years old, finally gave up this morning. I've tried all I know, to get the picture back on, but to no avail. I have audio, on all channels, but no picture.
Given my current physical state, I do not feel like walking around some big-box store...to shop.... so i have a TV guy coming tomorrow morning. I'll see what he suggest for the room size, etc. Just thought I'd ask here in advance.
BTW...smart tv or no smart tv ?
I would suggest a smart tv, I have looked at some and the smart ones will take a little getting used to, but not much at all. Get someone to install/set up and save the extra $200 installation fee.Any opinions ? My old one, [37] years old, finally gave up this morning.
