Exactly! The problem wasn't just mental illness and it wasn't just guns. The problem was that a seriously mentally ill person had access to guns.

What a rational argument for your crusade against guns and gun owners.I hate guns and the monsters who use them.
I wont reply to Palidin.... (read my signature) Humans have been killing each other since day one for many "reasons" I honestly believe that the biggest reason is organized religion. The problem is that guns are sometimes in the wrong hands. Germany has knife attacks everyday and many of them are fatal. Would you blame the knives too?
U.S. citizens can be proud of their gun laws.
..but wasn't he just a kid ?.. just barely 18 ?Apparently the killer was on or did a lot of drugs including an SSRI called sertraline and admitting to smoking a 'decent' amount of pot. Too much pot can lead to a pot induced psychosis. These in addition to other medications.
The killer was a psychiatric and pharmaceutical mess and helps explain these murders and prior mental health episodes. But the killer still made a choice to seek out his victims, it wasn't a moment of rage.
Trans school shooter Jesse Van Rootselaar had obsession with drugs and guns, chilling social media archives show
Some say he went to the school seeking family members he wanted to take out. I think the brother was his step brother...but wasn't he just a kid ?.. just barely 18 ?
In all of this we've forgotten he also killed his mother and brother...![]()
step or full brother ...still a family member, still dead.... ... and his mother as well...Some say he went to the school seeking family members he wanted to take out. I think the brother was his step brother.
