Sausage gravy doesn’t appear often enough at my house.Hmm, sausage gravy over baked potato? That may be a winner!
Usually it’s milk gravy made with a couple slices of deli ham torn to pieces and frizzled in butter before adding the flour, milk, seasonings, etc…
I toss in a handful of frozen peas, green beans or mixed vegetables if I have them.

Mama used to make me homemade hush puppies every time she fried me some fish that I'd caught but she just up and quit fixing them for some reason a few years back....I guess I need to sit that gal down and have a serious talk with her.Well, if all the biscuits and gravy are gone - how about some Catfish & Hush Puppies? Misa never saw this thread. This morning she spent a lot of time making home made biscuits and sausage gravy. She loved it.
Thank you this is what I imagine And it looks awful. I dunk biscuits in my tea and I pour gravy over roast beef. I find this a very interesting thread in the fact that each country has names for foods that are alien to others. What I mean is toad in the hole, if you are not English you might not know what this dish is. Hush puppies, to me they are a pair of shoes, as a food dish I have no idea what it is.that's biscuits and Beef gravy.....
