Olivia Newton John has passed away

Celebrity deaths usually don't effect me much but this rips my heart.
When I was in 7th grade my mom dropped me off at the mall and I stood in line to get her autograph. Around that time my sister took me to one of her concerts because she knew I liked her. And then there was the final scene in Grease ☺️
“Tell me 'bout it stud.”

OH No...she only gave a very positive interview a few weeks ago.... she's the very type of person, despite her illness that you never can imagine dying... :(

The actress famously beat breast cancer twice but was diagnosed again in 2017.

In a haunting interview with The Guardian in 2020, she said of the disease: 'It’s been a part of my life for so long. I felt something was wrong. It’s concerning when it comes back, but I thought "I’ll get through it again"'.

In other interviews, when asked how she battled the disease so bravely, she said: 'I've had and am having an amazing life so I have no complaints.

'I really don't. Everyone goes through something. We all have something we need to go through in life. This has been my challenge.'

 
It is odd sometimes when i come across news certain celebrity has passed ...
I then realize I remember them in a certain time only and i am often shocked ............they aged too. I mean i know i was young when Grease came out etc but somehow i do not really think of many aging especially if i had not seen them in any other interviews or shows.

i would have never guessed she was 73...................... i always see think of her as perpetually the age of the height of her popularity .........
 
Olivia Newton John was born in England and her parents migrated to Australia when she was five.

She began her career on Australian TV and later returned to England where she became established before moving to US. There is a lot more to this lady than her singing career and her encouragement of younger entertainers. She is remembered for her kindness and concern for others.

She has left a different kind of legacy in Melbourne in the form of the ONJ Cancer and Wellness centre.
