Looks very pretty but, good call to spend winters in town. Betcha can't wait for the warmer weather though

Well, it's not like fall, winter, spring up at the cabin with no sight of terra firma until May or June
and the temps going down to -37°F
Slight breeze at those temps will rip yer face off

We're good down here with low temps in the 20s F and a few inches (not a few feet) of snow

The mourning doves have totally commandeered the feeders

My little finches are getting muscled out

They even gathered at the bath

and a bit of a flutter

Heh....after putting the camera away, about two dozen doves took off from the ground, banging into each other

Lotsa Christmas stuff in the trinket stores

Stopped at this big mural on a side street

Hope you're doing well Gary. I miss feeding my squirrels but they were eating me out of house and home. They could easily put away 5 lbs of black oil sunflower seeds in a day.

One day the weatherman says snow then no. I can't keep up anymore. LOL!

I’ve always been more of a leg man where birds are concerned but would never have the patience to prep small birds. Looking at that video would lead me into town too.

Walked the downtown area and stopped off at a couple high end trinket shops that sell my tiny avian abodes

They both sold all they had!
Tis the season!

This is gonna wipe out my inventory of eight abodes when I restock their shelves



Meanwhile......at the feeders;

My tiny guys are getting their fill



The big birds took over the little feeder
and my tiny guys settled in to the big one

go figure
