Paper Calendars

Yes, I have one on the wall right next to me. I write all appointments on it immediately. Also keep track of what I did each day, like vacuuming, groceries, Bingo, etc. All of my bills and my son's are on it and I highlight them in pink after they are paid and cleared my accounts. I also keep track of when my son or Sonny came here or saw them. I never use the calendar on my phone or computer.

Do you still use paper calendars?
No
I used to

I used to get a paper one with huge squares for upcoming stuff
Took quite a bit of time to meticulously fill it all in
then......I realized........that was the only time ever I looked at it

Now?
I copy the yearlong one on the web
Paste it to ms-paint
adjust size
circle dates like SS auto deposits
Very basic

It's on my desktop
I open and zoom in about twice a month

Payday in less than two weeks
(I really don't give a rat's pooper about when, I just wanna make sure those sweethearts at SS are doing their job)

Do you remember when banks and businesses used to give out paper calendars for free?- -Can I get an Amen?- -Why, they had big wall calendars, smaller ones, and even card-sized wallet calendars! Some funeral homes even gave out calendars with religious art pictures, and the name of the funeral home imprinted on the calendar. How thoughtfully grim! “Time passes, and so will you“ seemed to be the underlying message. 👻

Have fun finding free paper calendars today, and store-bought ones can cost you up to $20… 📆 😩

I don't really care to mess around with the calendar on this thing and if the truth were known I don't know or want to know how to go about using it anyway......we've got a paper calendar hanging on the wall in the kitchen next to the telephone with squares big enough to write appointments on and that suits us just fine.

Haha, I think I’m a paper calendar addict! I I have wall ones in kitchen & bedroom, used to buy expensive ones but now just Dollartree, a 4x6 28 month planner that opens out into full month pages, and my Daytimer, with the monthly books, 2 page per day style, one side with numbers for daily apts, the other for notes. For me it’s just so much more “immediate” to flip thru paper than trying to scroll thru a phone or tablet.
Even tho I’ve been a computer user & owner since the 1990s!
