I really appreciate that you enjoyed the paintings, @officerripley!Very beautiful, thanks so much for posting.
Thank you so much, @Lara for your encouraging comments and observations! It means a lot to me!These are all so beautiful!! I especially like all those that use bright color saturation like in the first 4 and the still life and fall colors landscape with the bridge. Keep up the good work!
I agree!!!I truly admire all artists. They make life worth living.
You did a nice job on the clouds. I don't think paint by numbers was much help with the soft edges.Another paint-by-number that I did, but this one gave me difficulties because of the vase with the figures, lol. How much to show? I was discreet!

This was one of my first paint-by-number paintings in acrylic. I have it hanging in the den.

She really is. She writes well, plays violin, paints. Very talented. I really like the butterfly watercolour painting the best. Of course itās my favourite painting medium.Lovely paintings! You are a woman of many talents.
That one I found captivating myself. The flow of that dress is almost magical. They are all beautiful. Thanks for sharing! I liked this one the best.
Thanks! The cloud edges were brushed with a dry brush while the cloud was still wet, if that makes sense. You did a nice job on the clouds. I don't think paint by numbers was much help with the soft edges.
Thank you, @SeaBreeze for your kind words! Yes, it is a good feeling to complete my paintings. I have caught myself months later, passing by a painting, and wondering if I should have dabbed more color in a spot or two, haha.@palides2021 Thanks for sharing your artwork, love your paintings and the subject matter. You are very talented! I had a desire to do some art years ago with water colors, oils, charcoal, pencil, etc. I found I just did not have the talent in me, but I do admire folks like you who have the drive and create beautiful works. Must be a good feeling to complete a special painting.![]()
Thanks, @Paco Dennis! That is one of my favorite, too, that's why I have it hanging in a prominent location in my den! I loved the folds of her dress, and everything about the piano! They are all beautiful. Thanks for sharing! I liked this one the best.
Thanks, @Gaer! I appreciate your encouraging words! Creating my own designs has been slow in the coming, as I tried first with the paint-by-numbers and now watercolor. I am trying to find the medium (watercolor or acrylic) that speaks to me most. Right now, I am focusing on watercolor. There are limitations to it, as compared to acrylic, but I'm learning!Patty, The beauty of your soul comes through your paintings.
It's so important you continue creating your own designs, your own
art. This is where you will excel!
Thank you for showing us your creations!
Thank you, dear @PeppermintPatty! It takes an artist to appreciate another artist! hahaShe really is. She writes well, plays violin, paints. Very talented. I really like the butterfly watercolour painting the best. Of course itās my favourite painting medium.
Thanks, @Dustbunny ! I will be teaching University courses in a few days and will slow down painting projects considerably, but I don't think I'll ever stop painting. The feedback I received today from the SF members was quite uplifting! It somehow has given me the boost and confidence to move forward, if that makes sense.Wonderful @palides2021 . Thanks for sharing. You said you quit for your studies, do you plan on starting again?
