Pet peeves.

All my pet peeves???????? These are just a few.......
Computer sites asking me to shut off my ad blocker- that's why I have it.
Medicare Advantage plan ads on TV
People on the phone, and "multitasking", their voice is garbled, with echos, etc.
Business phones, when none of their prompts is for why you called.
A $3 item you just bought, which has some lousy antitheft packaging TNT couldn't open.
People, in front of you, at the checkout, who want to pay with a girlfriend's check, drawn on a bank in Siberia.
FEDEX always delivers on rainy days, when you're not home.
A business with "24 hour" service, but they can't get to you until Tuesday.

My pet peeves...

-Drivers that keep their turn signals on long after they've made a turn
-Drivers that go across multiple lanes at the last minute to make a turn
-Drivers who are on their phones and sit a the stoplight long after it has turned green
-Distracted drivers on their phones, period
-People who go through the Express line with much more than 15 grocery items
-People who write checks in any line
-People that park their cars in a way that they are taking up 2 spots
-Anyone who has no regard for my personal space
-Parents who let their kids scream and misbehave and just ignore it
-People who drive huge SUVs and only have a couple of kids

I could go on forever.

🤔 It's hard to think of one as so many things that used to irk me now seem so trivial. But I hate sharing the road with bicyclists. They drive me crazy cuz they act like the whole road is theirs.

That's all.

People crossing the street while texting and looking at their phones.
One person stepped off a curb that we were making a turn at, a couple of inches from our car .. and went on her merry way, still reading her phone, oblivious to the fact she was almost run over.

> Watching a movie for 2 hours and the TV freezes at the last 10 minutes and you miss the ending. (Streaming isn't all it's cracked up to be.)
> Drivers that drive the wrong way down an aisle in a parking lot and steal the parking space you were going to get.
> Drivers that speed around you in a parking lot, missing you by inches, when you're pulling out of a parking space and halfway in the aisle.
> People who don't get back to you for 2 days after you text them about something. No acknowledgement they even got your text.
> People who call you at 11:00 am and ask, "did I get you up?" (my mother-in-law trying to get under my skin)
> Checking a store's stock on-line of a certain product and they say they have 5 in stock but when you get to the store, there's none.
> Calling customer service and there's no option for talking to a real person.
> Ordering on-line and the package is coming from 1 state away, but it travels 3 states north first, then east, then finally back to the state it was originally in and handed over to USPS for delivery.
> Many of the pet peeves stated above.

Oh, so many....trivial stuff, but still very annoying.

Honestly tried to think of a pet peeve. Age must have done something positive to my tolerance because I can't think of anything that falls into the category of a pet peeve.
I'm with Knight! Can't think of a pet peeve.
Wouldn't little vagaries constantly annoy the mind?
Let things of no concern pass without mention.

Backstabbers. They have been a source of pain and suffering throughout my life. That's one of the drawbacks of being antisocial. Outgoing people seem to think it's open season on you and you never get the opportunity to defend yourself. They seem to believe that if you're not sociable, you're not a good person, and that seems to be especially true if you're anxious around people. Anxiety sucks, because when you're anxious, you don't think clearly and it negatively affects your memory, and that affects people's judgement of you. Bleh. Some of us were never meant to be here.

This is so true. I have found on some jobs, that if you don't blab about your personal life (and believe me I've heard some inappropriate garbage blabbed in the work place) they just make up crap about you.

My worst are probably garbage including the parking lot and smoking area at work. Those speeding drivers who blast past you only to meet them at the next light or at best, they got to their destination a minute or two faster than I would have.
