Anyone doing this? I play dominoes (Mexican train) and card games (Samba) at the Senior Center two days a week. Today, I tried to play Bridge (and I don't know how) online and found it a little like Spades. Does anyone play online, card games?

When I had my old computer, would play alot of word games, solitaire, find the difference
I have a laptop don't play games online anymore because Ken N TX told me its not good idea,I value his advice. At times I miss playing online, but I have word search/crossword puzzle books which is easier for me

I play cribbage, bridge and hearts online.
I don't know how to play Bridge and I went online to play as a beginner. It looks a lot like Spades/Hearts. You bid and play with a partner and try to get as many books/tricks as you can and you play your trump cards strategically to set your opponents. Right?

I like to play online poker....free web sites sponsored by WPT and WSOP. It's almost like playing at the casinos, with live players from all around the world...but, its just "play money". It does, however, keep me "trained" so that when we do go to a casino, I have had plenty of "practice". Plus, the activity of matching wits with the other players helps keep my old noodle "exercised".

Right. There are similarities, but bridge is slightly more complicated as there are several ways to play and it gets involved. I learned when I was a child as my parents taught me.

So, I went to the beginners and played and thought it was so easy. A lot like playing spades or hearts. From what you say, it isn't that easy. I have a senior center I go to, they have a Bridge group, and they play at tables of 4.

I'm on pogo.com & the only things I can play is Canasta & Jungle Gin. I'm not a fan of online Solitaire.

I play on Pogo as well. I like Casasta too. Never figured out gin or spades. I like some of the solitaire games..there, like Tri Peaks. Right now I am enjoying the Mahjong type games. And the connect 3 games there.

Gin is pretty much like the Canasta. You should try it with the bot. I'm sure you could figure it out plus there's game play info to teach you. I didn't have any luck with the Spades. I don't understand it. LOL!

I like the Mahjong games as well.
