I mentioned earlier [in health section] that I was going to research the B/P thing called Zona Plus.

Well.....just in this last hour? or so I have been getting pop-up after pop-up form sources trying to sell me one....just now i started getting pop-ups trying to sell me B/P socks......[cue twilight zone music].......they're watching <grin>

I don't know about this Zona Plus....but, if you want to get rid of the popups, just install ABP "Ad Block Plus". It's free and works great...I've been using it for years, and it has blocked over 2.5 million ads on my system.

Me too, love it. A few sites, mostly news, won't let you view unless you un-block (whitelist) their site, which I don't mind doing sometimes. They have to make a living, too.

They are watching rgp, and ALWAYS looking to sell us something. Whenever I look up anything online, I get pop-up about that item and others like it on ALL websites I visit.

Thanks, I'll look into that.

I call them stalkers. With ad blockers, aren't they still there, but you don't see them? That's still stalking, right? Is the bad thing about them that they want to sell you something? Or the fact that your footprints are all over the web? In real life, we would be up in arms. So why should that be allowed on the internet? Or am I just being naive?

I agree, their nefarious conduct is far more concerning than their sales pitches.

Again I agree, & not naive at all but...how do {WE} [not] allow them on the net?

If you get pop up ads when using this forum, your browser was infected by adware/virus. SF never uses pop-up ads.

And we thank you for that, Matrix!

It makes me crazy when I google something just one time, and then get endless ads for that and similar products, until I google something else that takes its place.
