The video is cute but the meaning of the song isn't so cute. It is about the owner of the record label that CCR was on and the lawsuits he filed trying to squeeze money out of Fogerty. In one suit, the record label owner (Saul Zaentz) claimed that Fogerty plagiarized the CCR song Run Through the Jungle when he wrote The Old Man Down the Road. Zaentz lost the suit because the court ruled that a songwriter can't plagiarize their own work. Thanks, I thought it was a cute video, so I can see 8 yr olds liking it, but I should know that most seniors, probably not.
Edited to remove last sentence (I got the wrong song).
Thanks for telling me this; I didn't know that background. I wish I had never posted it, but since it's had reactions / replies, I don't think I should delete it now.The video is cute but the meaning of the song isn't so cute.
