The video is cute but the meaning of the song isn't so cute. It is about the owner of the record label that CCR was on and the lawsuits he filed trying to squeeze money out of Fogerty. In one suit, the record label owner (Saul Zaentz) claimed that Fogerty plagiarized the CCR song Run Through the Jungle when he wrote The Old Man Down the Road. Zaentz lost the suit because the court ruled that a songwriter can't plagiarize their own work.

I'm glad you did post it. I had forgotten about the song. It was a clever way for Fogerty to express his opinion about the person
