Problem with my neighbour - time to confront?

I wouldn't be so quick to put an innocent dog into this situation as some of you have suggested.

One Thanksgiving, when we lived out in the country, we were sitting down to dinner when we saw a coonhound looking through the window at us. I couldn't let him in for fear my tiny, territorial dog would get hurt. So I let him in the garage, gave him a big turkey dinner and he settled down for a nice winter's nap.

Sometime in the night my cat came home, saw an interloper, and lacerated his sweet face. He ran to the neighbor who took him to the vet (and then sold him for $3000.)

It does depend on the dog and the cat, of course.

I haven't even been reading here much, but I smell a long string of BS from this @Liza1948 new character here. My thoughts Liza, is that I feel sorry for the lady with the cats (if such a lady even exists) that she has a neighbor like you (if you really are her neighbor, and if she really exists). If anything, the authorities should be called on you, especially if you're planning to hide poison outdoors in food to kill animals and wildlife. Is all this drama in your life real or imagined? If it isn't real, spare us the BS.

Just call me curious but how is it that you are able to confront your neighbors about taking your gazebo this past Tuesday in Suburban Iowa and now today, your closest neighbor is an elderly woman, living on an acre in semi-rural Iowa? Plus, you say that you have been traveling yet you also said that you had taken your morning tea to your gazebo which you found to be gone earlier this week. You seem to live an interesting if controversy filled life. Maybe there’s a rat somewhere there in Iowa that those cats might catch?

The gazeebo (sic) thread
I think you're right on target Chris.

Well, well this has turned into a right old row hasn't it ?.. I never gave it a thought this morning when I read it first..unlike me, I didn't smell any rat, (unintended pun).. because I just thought ''Liza'' was basically thinking out loud and not really serious about poisoning cats... but I think it looks like we've got someone who just likes to get a rise out of people.. and everyone rose to the Bait.. 😜...we haven't had a troll for ages tbh.. it's quite fun... I doubt there are any animals in danger...

The best way to get rid of cats that I know of is to use humane live traps. I would probably keep some of the two year olds and then get rid of the rest. I would butcher the cats and let the dog eat them. There is no rearon to let good meet go to waste. I also have thought about the theft the of your gazebo and thought that if your dog woud pee on the gabezo when it was in your yard and now the dog goes into the neighbors yard to pee on the gabezo let the police know that you have proof.
Please let this be satirical

At least it's not another covid thread! ;):giggle:

I agree, that is definitely more important!!

And I wanted to be the first to offer to help with those fudge cookies,
but now I have a major life problem,
that others have offered to help with those cookies, before I did.:sneaky::LOL:;)
Could everyone please help me solve this terrible problem of mine?:sneaky:;)
Well I heard you thinking about helping before anyone else @Kaila, so you got the idea first :D

Liza I was having a good laugh at your other threads, because they are in my opinion a figment of your imagination. But this one about poisoning cats, is way over the line.
I really believe you have no cats next door and this is another made up story, like the gazebo one. But to me, even saying such a thing in a made up story, is horrible. To even think this well, the only thing you need to "confront" is a doctor.

Yes, she obviously has mental health issues. But I wonder if she is young, because she sounds young. There is no way a gazebo can be moved without the use of a crane. Plus wooden fences have cross pieces which are 2x8 or 10. You just don’t remove slats.

It might be one of those made of tarpaulin or something. I do not think she is a young person. My belief is, she is a senior, a wealthy one, with money and time on her hands and a bizarre imagination!

I thought the first story, that caused some readers to fear "she" is a current and ongoing victim of elder abuse who needed our sympathy and help, followed by the financial one about how wealthy "she" is, in which she verbally and personally berates another poster....were even worse than this one.....with the story about drunk naked men, somewhere in between on the scale......of both not true, and not wanted.

Well, I have missed a lot of her stories, dang it ☹️

An example why "they" might be vitally important!
