nice colour... I think I've had every type there is tbh in my life.. Where I live the water is the hardest in the country, so kettles and heating elements don't last more than a couple or 3 years...

This is mine currently

Holldolly...you have always seemed to be a clear-thinking well-informed person. I enjoy reading many of your posts. So, I was somewhat shocked when I saw this post from you. Did you really not know if Americans have spray deodorant? Maybe you were just trying to wake us up 'over here'? I think it worked!

Tell me do you 'Brits' still have a Prime Minister...

NO, I never even thought about it, but if I;d been asked I would have absolutely believed you did. However there was an Adult American female giving an interview to the papers saying that Americans had never heard of Spray deodorant , electric kettles and heated towels.. so I just had to check. Let's face it who is in a better position than I, with all my wonderful American friends here.. to tell me the facts! ?(y)

prime minister?.. of course.. Rishi Sunak

he's the equivalent of your President, who is currently in Ireland getting everything wrong and putting his foot right in it..

That's a very nice color as well; I love shades of green.

I've noticed that shale builds up quite quickly in our kettle and have to run vinegar and water through it to keep it clean.

It was a harmless question that sparked a fun conversation.

And you made me laugh again...

yes we have sachets of limescale remover which has to be boiled in the kettle every now and then.. but it takes it toll..

Some American said we don't have spray deodorant, electric kettles or heated towels?
Hahahaha... she was maybe very rural or on drugs.

Personally I stopped using spray deodorant many years ago in favor of roll-on or stick for the sake of the environment. Also, I have no need of heated towels nor an electric kettle, as it happens.

I've been using this deodorant for many, many years now.....love it. I use both the spray version and the roll on. I never had heated towel racks, and don't know anyone who has them. I have the heat on in the house when I take a shower, dry off and that's it, never felt the need or want, LOL.

The spray I use is just a simple pump with straw that brings up the liquid. No aerosol like in the old days, so not harmful to the ozone.

I've used these. In the winter I don't usually use deodorant to just run errands. In the summer I do.

I always wear deodorant for work. Just thinking of work makes me sweat.

she said she lived all her life in the Florida Suburbs..she's the CEO of an online company...

Having experienced a heated towel in a hotel, I can say it may not be necessary but it sure is nice. I wish I had heated floors in the bathroom too.
We have radiant heat, so the floors are warm here in the cold months and the bathroom floor is extra warm... but it doesn't really heat the whole room the way I'd like it to... at least my feet are always happy. :giggle:
