Question for folks with 4 wheel walkers,

Drive Medical RTL10266 Nitro Euro-Style 4-Wheel Rollator Walker With Seat, Red

This is mine. Turns on a dime and easy to fold. 18 pounds and just grab the strap in the seat folds right up. Amazon has them. Pappy
yes, that looks like my husbands a friend gave him. They also make a walker/wheelchair, it flips from a walker into a wheelchair for long outings.

I bought the stair assist one but have not been brave enough to try it on the stairs. I will stand there and try to get up the nerve but haven't done it yet. Maybe one day.
It really is a damn shame how our limitations , intimidate us so. I am the same way with the shower. And sink baths just don't feel near as good. And they just kill my back.

If your floors will allow, a walker with a tray attachment would be very handy. I don't have the tray on mine but use the seat to move food and drink from kitchen to my bedroom recliner, my floors are wood and seat on walker is flat and firm...good luck with your search. I'm not using my walker now but, have used when hip pain was goshawful.

Would a shower bench and a handheld shower help? 🤔

Thank You.

My shower is the 'hard' shower surround, with a door. No curtain, and the bench depicted just wouldn't fit . But I do have a smaller one, and i am considering using that and add one of those 4 clawed canes for stability ??

Like @hawkdon said, it is very intimidating just sitting, then standing back up.
