This is a photo from my phone that I took in March 2020. It’s a photo of my local supermarket here in the UK. The photo is of where the Toilet Paper & Kitchen Roll supposed to be.
I was down to my last roll, and there was nothing left to buy. When I got home I drew up a contingency plan. I went onto the Interweb & found inspiration in the United States Defence Readiness Condition system. Otherwise known as DEFCON
This is the system I developed.
DEFCON 5, kitchen roll. I had got one left.
DEFCON 4, otherwise known as Kleenex man-size tissues.
DEFCON 3, baby wipes. I don’t have a baby, but we all have at least one packet of these knocking around somewhere, right?
DEFCON 2, the grease proof paper. Due to the popularity of
The Great British Bake Off, I seem to have had loads of this for some bizarre reason? At the time I thought might finally get the chance to use it! (I think the equivalent in the US was The Great American Baking Show?)
DEFCON 1. To be honest, I really don’t want to discuss DEFCON 1! Or at least not in polite company.
My main concern was whether I’d got the DEFCON numbers the correct way around!
