Random Pictures taken using your Phone..Let's see yours

@Pappy , your photos are wonderful! My good friend (she's your age) from Bainbridge growing up, her dad was Police Chief there, Mr. Payne. I showed her your young pic here at the grocery store, but she didn't recognize you. Must be you kept your nose clean back then. No speeding tickets or race cars?? Just teasing.
Yes Right Now, I behaved myself living there. Busy raising 3 children and working long hours. I loved that little village.

These were taken at the Hoboken (N.J.) waterfront park on the Hudson River, across from New York City (NYC). I take the train there from time to time to eat lunch, take a walk and people watch. I'd never seen boat spraying water before so I also videoed it, paused and took a screen shot of the video. That's why it's fuzzy. I thought it was interesting to see the locks on the fence and wondered how that got started. The last one was taken from the bus on the way home from the Port Authority bus terminal in NYC. I'm not sure if that spot is Hoboken or Weehawken NJ, with the view of the Hudson and Manhattan (NYC) across the water.

Diva, in the park and lakes near me there's a similar fence with lots of ''love locks''... I'll get a photo of it at some point... :giggle:

I’ve got a photo on my phone of a Christmas Tree I put up in my house last year.

I keep the tree & the decorations in the loft. It took me ages to find the tree.
I supose I should find the time to tidy the loft up as I can never locate anything there.

I was quite proud of it when I set the tree up. I thought it really set the room off.
Anyway, I’ll pull the photo off my phone & put it in my next post.

This is a photo from my phone that I took in March 2020. It’s a photo of my local supermarket here in the UK. The photo is of where the Toilet Paper & Kitchen Roll supposed to be.

I was down to my last roll, and there was nothing left to buy. When I got home I drew up a contingency plan. I went onto the Interweb & found inspiration in the United States Defence Readiness Condition system. Otherwise known as DEFCON

This is the system I developed.

DEFCON 5, kitchen roll. I had got one left.

DEFCON 4, otherwise known as Kleenex man-size tissues.

DEFCON 3, baby wipes. I don’t have a baby, but we all have at least one packet of these knocking around somewhere, right?

DEFCON 2, the grease proof paper. Due to the popularity of The Great British Bake Off, I seem to have had loads of this for some bizarre reason? At the time I thought might finally get the chance to use it! (I think the equivalent in the US was The Great American Baking Show?)

DEFCON 1. To be honest, I really don’t want to discuss DEFCON 1! Or at least not in polite company.

My main concern was whether I’d got the DEFCON numbers the correct way around!
