Our Iconic Phone booth and Pillar Box ( now most people call it a Post box).... Once upon a time where you saw one you saw the other, but the red phone boxes are now becoming as rare as tennis balls in a Kangaroos pouch...those which haven't been sold to be ornaments in people's gardens.. or being used a de facto libraries in village settings..they've been put to good use housing defibrillator ... so getting to photograph 2 side by side is unusual these days..

Took a walk at Albany Bulb yesterday and also last Wednesday a park created over a former dump along the San Francisco Bay where dogs under control are allowed off leash. It also has nice views across g to e bay to San Francisco, the Golden Gate and Bay bridges and a lot of guerrilla art. Here are a few pics from those trips.



The GG bridge is visible in this one but through some haze.





People paint on stuff and sculpt with it too. this next one works well as kinetic art.

She seems happy enough here though @Pappy , Maybe happy in the realisation that any shared housework will have to be done solely by someone else for a while, perhaps.

I’m guessing a raccoon. These vents were all nice and tight until a few days ago. There is five of them and allow excess to crawl space. A couple of others have been tampered with too. Feral cats like to get under these houses and have their litters. Don’t want that, but I don’t think a cat did this.

When I took the dog out this morning the sight of this tall Echium flower stalk caught my eye.







Often I walk under it without looking up at it on our way to her favorite spots.
