I know they're not the most wonderful photos. But these were taken with my phone of the Goodyear Blimp airship flying over my garden

This airship is huge, and it's very rare for anyone to get a sighting of it, there's only 10 in the world and only 4 are owned by Goodyear. They are predominately used for advertising, and it carries up to 9 passengers.. so to be able to not have this fly over my house, and garden, but for me to be there at the precise time, and manage to capture the photos on my phone.. is a big achievement..

Our orange deciduous azalea still hanging on, despite lichen growing on it. I guess the end won't be long for it. Shame.

Oh it's a beautiful Azalea! So bright! I have never seen an orange and red. Lichen won't hurt the plant it's growing on. Can they cut back the dead branches to give more strength to the good ones?

Oh it's a beautiful Azalea! So bright! I have never seen an orange and red. Lichen won't hurt the plant it's growing on. Can they cut back the dead branches to give more strength to the good ones?

@Lara, the landscapers only do what they're told by the Assoc, and I think the Assoc. would just trash the shrub if they knew about it. I'm glad to learn the lichen won't hurt it.

I'd do it myself if I had bigger clippers. Maybe I'll give them a call.

The only orange or yellow azaleas I know of are deciduous.

This one of the many wood pigeons which visit my garden. She's sitting high up in the middle of the tree on the nest where she's been for about 2 weeks now.... she thinks she can't be seen , but I've managed to take a picture of her very quietly without disturbing her or the nest...
