Reflections of My Life

Well after all the excitement of yesterday, it is so quiet in these early morning hours. Last night I watched the newscast on my neighbor's television. Then I stayed for awhile with them. They didn't want me to leave. Then a neighbor from upstairs stopped in to tell us about the elevator working. The Otis repairman told her husband it was safe to use and asked him to spread the word. After I left I went downstairs to get my mail. If it hadn't been dark I would have taken a walk outside. I will be going outside today..........even if it is snowing. I am hoping Sonny comes up and takes me somewhere....anywhere! Just to be outside in the world again.

I am writing up a work order to get my blinds either fixed or replaced on two of my windows. Going to do that while we are in the power position. Conifer will probably want to protect their "affordable living" reputation. I will put that in today when I go down to do my laundry.
 
Now don't be surprised if there are other reporters out there. This is good human interest story, they will be looking for follow up information, they will be looking to talk to the residents. Do your hair, lipstick and pick a bright happy colored shirt. Your 15 minutes of fame are not up yet. Who knows, you might be chosen as an ambassador for your building, a spokeperson for the retired or disabled from your city.

I hope not. I still wonder if there will be more on the news since there was a lot more people interviewed than me. I will check and if so I will post it again here.

Did they say you are 98? Or is that someone else?
If true you do not look it!!!

I'm happy to see the elevator is being repaired.

I heard that, too. 🤭 If I'd have to guess, I'd say that the station spliced the tape and goofed... maybe they had interviewed the 98 year old and that part hit the cutting floor. No way kat is anywhere near that age.
