Get well soon, Kat.

You have a good attitude, @katlupe! Yes, "a month from now this will be all over with."I am finally improving. Yesterday, I could do things easier. Then in the afternoon Sonny picked me up in his new to him, truck to go to Walmart. As I was walking up the ramp, I smelled gasoline and I looked at this truck and gas was leaking out! I told him and he looked underneath but there was nothing he could do. When he picked it there was a quarter of a tank in it and then on the way here he filled it up. So all his money went down the road! We still went to Walmart but now he has to fix this. Otherwise the truck looked okay and it is small enough that I could get into it easily. It is okay but I like his car much better. I hope he can get that fixed.
Still taking it easy today but on Monday will be the 2nd process of the bug spraying. I have not seen even one tiny straggler (and usually you do). So putting things I took out back in their bags. This has been hard. It is hard to have all your stuff in plastic bags in a pile. I am very organized and neat and this stresses me. Probably what caused me to catch something. I keep telling myself, "a month from now this will be all over with."
Hopefully, it will soon be just a memory!! Hang in there!I am still pretty tired out. Too much to do very much except watch videos. But tomorrow I have to get things arranged again for the bug guy who does my 2nd treatment Monday morning. I will be spending another six hours in the Community Room with my bunny boy. So don't worry if you don't hear from me. Feeling like I do, you can imagine how excited I am about doing this.......
But..........I do want to get it over with so I will focus on the outcome until this over. It is hard not to become depressed though I have never been one to experience it before. Even when going through some bad things in my life. I think the mess I am living with in my apartment has induced it in my brain. Now I have other things, besides being sick going on and they are all bad so I can't help but be affected by it all.
Don't worry about the food pantry....you can cross that bridge, when you come to it!I have only one thing I have do today which is going to the food pantry with a friend. They moved the county food pantry to a building across the river so it is hard for anyone without a car to go to. My friend has a car and she asked if I would go with her. Even though we hadn't been getting food from the pantries in the past, in light of the present economy we decided we should start putting some aside just in case (and in my case for my son also).
We didn't go today. Planning for next week instead.Don't worry about the food pantry....you can cross that bridge, when you come to it!![]()
I wish you luck with the new aide! Also, with Temu. If you feel sleepy, sleep.... that's the best way the body heals itself.Today, I didn't do much except cough a lot. Teaching myself how to use the Tubi channel. Sonny has been watching it and likes it a lot. He recently gave up his television channels to cut down on expenses and is finding other options that he likes more. I have had it all along on my television but didn't use it.
I am ashamed to say that my kitchen counter is still a mess from yesterday. I cleared the coffee maker area only. Didn't do any cooking. Tomorrow I will work on that........besides my new aide is supposed to start tomorrow. So she can do some of it for me.
I am tempted to check out Temu for a test order. A couple of the YouTube channels I follow have been showing things and clothing that they bought there and I like them. So maybe I will try it. It is cheap. They didn't like everything they bought but most of it. So there is a 90 day return and free shipping. When I feel better I will take a look.
Thank you! I will be careful.Kat..have a look here what I wrote about Temu yesterday.... I've boguht quite a few things from them, in fact another order is arriving tomorrow,.... the important thing about Temu is to read the small print on the items, and to check and double check sizes...quite often it looks like there's more than one item for the price when there isn't.. and also the number one complaint seems to be about sizes..because very often the pictures are misleading.. and people go by that and not by the description.
