Failure to register is a federal felony, which can result in fines or imprisonment. It may also affect eligibility for federal jobs, student financial aid, and U.S. citizenship for immigrants USAGov+1.

Important Notes​

Evaluated for fitness. You can always quickly gain 60 kilo then.
Fines, imprisonment. I was always so grateful for the men who freed us with WWII, but apparently they were forced to.

It used to be a felony here too. That's why my brother lied that he was crazy.

So evil and unfair. Oh you sported and are normal? You must fight. And especially: You're a young man. Where are these feminists now? Only fighting for their own rights aren't they? Evil.

And in Israel the girls must fight too, but the orthodox guys don't cause they have to study the Torah. What the... I knew a creep. His son went to Israel. The son is Jewish. He studies the Torah and doesn't fight. Great but a girl is forced to defend him. No way.

I did a quick search of my own and found this AI response with respect to the "only son" thing:

That must be really annoying. The culture is so different. Here nobody blinks an eye nor even knows nor asks if my 64 year old brother was in the military. Who cares. My dad was for a while, but just here. Not in any war.

I'm not against the military, but I'm against forcing people. I think men nor women should be forced and also not looked down upon. That's still pushing someone.

Why in the world are we talking about a draft? Outside of this discussion, I haven't even heard the word come up since Vietnam. Have I missed something in the news?
