Interesting view on cultural mores. Why is public consensual sex viewed as more of a menace to society than assault? Can anyone say Puritan? I wager those individuals so concerned with appropriate beach behaviour, would be far less gungho in bringing to justice a respectable member of society on a charge of date rape, et al. No, the sentence was antideluvian, cruel, no justice but excessive punishment found here.
 

I note that two of the "witnesses" were a grandmother and a great-grandmother. Maybe we're looking at a generational clash here ... and they could have just told their grandkids that the couple was practicing CPR.

That kid was 4 years old, what could he possibly be thinking?
